Hello Dear Friends,

I left our meditation group last Saturday at the Clock Tower trusting the “Butterfly Effect” even more. Anticipating a meteorological shift, a tornado of love and peace somewhere in our world in the not-to-distant future. Perhaps even here in Santa Cruz. I’m including in my reservoir of hope the several who chose not to be photographed and those who stood on the outside of our group observing with curiosity and perhaps even wonder.  All the while encouraged by the number of people who look forward to our interaction along the San Lorenzo River each Saturday and those who often thank me for the socks and bagels. A big thanks to Jane, Shirley and Collette at the Villages Episcopal Community for the many bags of clean clothes they gave, and we distributed the past two weeks. 

·      Come join us this Saturday 8/19 at the Clock Tower at 12:30 pm when we will be back again with socks, bagels, lox, and meditation.  Most importantly we will be validating human life, created in the image of God.  Anticipate the “butterfly effect”: our prayers and acts of love will axiomatically have an untold effect. ·      Centering Prayer and Lectio Divina meets as always, this Tuesday 8/15 at 8 am and 8 pm. Attached is the Zoom link:

·      Our next retreat is already scheduled for October 18th at Villa Mariadel Mar.  As always, we endeavor to experience God, talking “about” God is always secondary.
