Here we are, myself, Pam, and Thomas at Stillpoint headquarters making lox and bagels.
Pam recently added “monster” cookies and “raisin and oatmeal” cookies to our Stillpoint menu. Pam handed out cookies regularly at the Benchland encampment and we are glad to have her add her baking skills to what we can offer our unhoused neighbors.
Thomas knows how to build trust and rapport having has many years of experience on the streets. He already knows many of the patrons who receive our bagels and socks.
Come join us this Saturday 3/30 at 12:15 pm at my place as we pass out lox and socks and lots of good will. We meet at:
180 Dakota Ave, Unit F
Santa Cruz, CA 95060

Centering Prayer and Lectio Divina meets as always, this Tuesday, 3/26 at 8 am.
At 8 pm we will also meet for a time of guided meditation. Come connect with us to discover a core state of peace, joy or love. Finding your core state more often than not resolves issues of Insomnia, stress and even health.

Stillpoint Quarterly Retreat
Our quarterly retreat is coming soon at Villa Maria del Mar on April 24th, 9 am to 3 pm. We will be exploring: “Experiencing the Already/Not Yet,” the coming reign of love in the eternal now. That’s a mouth full but I am sure you will discover new and inner resources to address the many dilemmas and conundrums of the “not/yet.” Villa Maria is obliged to raise their prices to $45 per person to meet their expenses. Still quite a bargain: a delicious meal and stunningly beautiful surroundings, all for $45. Donations to Stillpoint are also greatly appreciated for the retreat. RSVP and let me know if you are in need of a scholarship.
With warm regards,
Joel+
